Gina Philips is not the star of Jeepers Creepers 3

We told you only yesterday that the newest entry in the JEEPERS CREEPERS franchise had wrapped production. Today it seems that we now have news coming in that original JEEPERS CREEPERS star Gina Philips is, in fact, NOT the star of the new film.

Yesterday, Horror Freak News ran a whole article about how Gina Philips was not going to be in the new film – AT ALL. Then "a source" contacted them and let them know that, yes, Gina Philips would have a role in the flick, but it would only be "a very small cameo." Urgh.

Truthfully, at this point, I really don't even care if Trish comes back or not.

Sure, seeing the trilogy wrapped up with Trish revenge-ripping Darry's blue eyes right the f*ck back out of The Creeper’s head would be a f*cking gas to witness, but whatever. I'll take MONSTER SQUAD's Stan Shaw and Meg Foster beating Creeper ass for a full 23 years instead. Sounds like fun to me.

Plus, all we really want to know is 1) will Justin Long have a cameo, 2) will Ray Wise be in the flick, and 3) will the film cap-off with the surprise-ending of Victor Salva finally getting locked up in prison for the next 23 years (or, you know, life).

Oh, snap. Too far?

JEEPERS CREEPERS 3 is written and directed by Victor Salva (see sick burn above) and stars Gina Philips (in a small cameo), Meg Foster, Brandon Stacy, and Stan Shaw.
