I don't know about you guys but I still own the FRIDAY THE 13TH series on VHS and on DVD.
But somehow I missed the chance to ever snag the series on Blu-ray. But ut I'll be able to rectify that this Valentines's Day as Paramount will be releasing their original 8 movies in one Blu-ray collection.
Yes, it sucks that the New Line Jason flicks aren't included such as JASON GOES TO HELL, JASON X, FREDDY VS JASON, or the remake, but I think we'll all survive. Plus there's something about owning the originals that still sits okay with me.
The other thing that kinda sucks is that the collection will not be here until after Christmas. So there goes giving and/or receiving it as the best Xmas gift ever. Oh, well.

FRIDAY THE 13TH synopsis:
Crystal Lake's history of murder doesn't deter counselors from setting up a summer camp in the woodsy area.
