Fox’s Rocky Horror remake will do the Time Warp this October

While we're not exactly shivering with antici…. pation for Fox's TV remake of cult classic musical THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW, the special is closing in on an official release date, so at least we know it'll be over with soon.

The special, which is directed by Kenny Ortega and stars Laverne Cox as Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Victoria Justice as Janet, Ryan McCartan as Brad, Reeve Carney as Riff Raff, Christina Milian as Magenta, Annaleigh Ashford as Columbia, Staz Nair as Rocky, Adam Lambert as Eddie, and Tim Curry as the Criminologist, will be officially hitting Fox this October, just in time for Halloween.

There's no specific date and time yet, but you can at least mark it on the top of that page of your calendar, if you're so inclined.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show follows 

sweethearts Janet Weiss and Brad Majors, played in the movie by Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick, who stumble upon Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s bizarre abode. Frank-N-Furter, a sexually ambiguous flirtatious alien mad-scientist, is holding an annual Transylvanian science convention to showcase the birth of “Rocky Horror” – a fit, attractive man created solely to fulfill Frank’s desires.
