Well, guys, we've officially seen it all. Someone made a movie about zombie beavers that attack a group of college kids at a riverside cabin. And that someone is director Jordan Rubin who says, “This may very well be the most important film you will ever see about zombie beavers.” I like this guy. The appropriately titled ZOMBEAVERS is currently being shopped around at EFM in Berlin with BIG ASS SPIDER's Epic Pictures handling sales.
Not that you really need one, but here's the film's synopsis:
ZOMBEAVERS is an action-packed horror/comedy in which a group of college kids staying at a riverside cabin are menaced by a swarm of deadly zombie beavers. A weekend of sex and debauchery soon turns gruesome as the beavers close in on the kids. Riding the line between scary, sexy and funny, the kids are soon fighting for their lives in a desperate attempt to fend off the hoard of beavers that attack them in and around their cabin.
It's about a bunch of large, semi-aquatic rodents that develop a hunger for human flesh. That is all. And finally, here's the trailer for the flick that will either leave you smiling or scratching your head because it looks as ridiculous as it sounds. I will say that some of the practical effects are pretty awesome, in a cheesy undead beaver kind of way.
SILENT NIGHT's Cortney Palm stars alongside Rachel Melvin, Hutch Dano and Jake Weary. Here's the trailer. Enjoy!
