Last Updated on August 5, 2021

As we told you last week, Mark Hartley’s remake of PATRICK is now underway in Australia, with Sharni Vinson, Rachel Griffiths, Charles Dance and Jackson Gallagher (in the lead role) all starring. Today, thanks to the Herald Sun, we have the first two photos from the film.

As you’ll see, they’re nothing too special, but it’s not like we’ll turn down pictures of Ms. Vinson in nurse’s uniform. The Aussie actress revealed to the site that she’s immediately gotten beat the hell up on the film: “‘The first day was the best of any shoot I’ve done. They scheduled all the big action scenes from for the first day. I got rigged up with the harness and came flying through the air and crashing into big mats. I’ve definitely already done some damage to my elbow, which is super-swollen.”

Opening in 2013, PATRICK goes like this: After killing is mother and her lover some years before, Patrick is the comatose patient in room 15 of a remote, private psychiatric clinic run by the secretive Dr Roget, who treats him as a guinea pig in his bizarre studies of life and death. When Kathy, a nurse who has recently separated from her boyfriend, begins working at the clinic, she is instructed to care for him. She is disturbed by Roget’s treatment of him and somehow feels that Patrick is trying to make a connection with her.
