First official Jurassic World 2 image plays to the wonder

We have been getting a good amount of news from the JURASSIC WORLD 2 peeps over the last few weeks, but today we have the first official image from the film to show you guys!

Director J. A. Bayona posted the image on his Twitter, which you can see both below and above. The image shows a little girl looking upon a series of dinosaur (totally just said that like Mr. DNA in my head) bones.

I hate to get too ahead of myself, but I really dig this image. If I had any real issue with JURASSIC WORLD (and I had a few) there was little "wonder" presented in the concept. I mean dinosaurs have fascinated us all since, I guess, the dawn of time, but JURASSIC WORLD just kinda said, "Yeah, dinosaurs are kinda cool, I guess, but watch them do cool stuff in CGI! Now THAT'S entertainment."

This new pic, as small of a glimpse into J.A. Bayona's vision as it is, seems to get the basic concept that even dinosaur bones (Mr. DNA again) are something to marvel at in wonder. Let's hope the full film carries that theme across.

Bryce Dallas Howard as a blonde is truly something special. Let's hope she switches it up, Gwen Stacy style, for JW2.
