Escape Room 2 adds Holland Roden & more

Adam Robitel's ESCAPE ROOM 2 will be hitting a theater near you in August 2020. And today we hear that the cast has grown quite a bit with the additions of Holland Roden (see above in CHANNEL ZERO: BUTCHER'S BLOCK), Indya Moore (POSE), Thomas Cocquerel (TABLE 19), and Carlito Olivero (STEP UP: HIGH WATER). They join Isabelle Fuhrman (ORPHAN) along with returning stars Taylor Russell and Logan Miller.

While I'm not overly familiar with most of these new cast members, I know Holland Roden well by this point for her roles in the above mentioned CHANNEL ZERO: BUTCHER'S BLOCK and Amazon's short-lived anthology series LORE. She's a welcomed addition to the cast, I say! And while we're here, how about the powers that be casting ORPHAN and DOWN A DARK HALL star Isabelle Fuhrman? Now that's some good casting!

Glad to see her back on the big screen.

The original film followed

An intriguing invitation bring six strangers together. Initially, they think they have gathered for a highly immersive escape room, but they soon make the sickening discovery that they are pawns in a sadistic game of life and death. Together, they move from one terrifying scenario to the next as they find clues and solve puzzles. But the players soon learn that exposing their darkest secrets may hold the key to survive.

The cast included Logan Miller, Deborah Ann Woll, Taylor Russell, Tyler Labine, Jay Ellis, and Nik Dodani. Neal H. Moritz (I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, URBAN LEGEND) and Ori Marmur (JACK THE GIANT SLAYER, BATTLE LOS ANGELES) produce the film. Did you go see ESCAPE ROOM in theaters earlier this year?
