Dead by Daylight to introduce new licensed horror character to game!

DEAD BY DAYLIGHT is one of the first asymmetrical horror games – a one versus four online multiplayer game where one player takes on the role of a savage killer, while the other four players play as survivors, trying to escape the killer and avoid being caught – and definitely one of the most influential, inspiring both the recent FRIDAY THE 13th and PREDATOR: HUNTING GROUNDS games. And while the game began with its own creations, inspired by classic horror monsters and archetypes, it has also amassed actually licensed horror characters over the years, such as Michael Myers from HALLOWEEN, Ghost Face from SCREAM, and the Demogorgon from STRANGER THINGS, among others.

Now, to celebrate the game's fourth anniversary, DEAD BY DAYLIGHT is looking to expand its monster roster. Mathieu Côté, Game Director on DEAD BY DAYLIGHT and Product Evangelist for Behaviour Interactive, had this to say about the upcoming update:

We are quite excited to celebrate another amazing year in the history of DEAD BY DAYLIGHT…The game is always changing, always improving. We’ve brought you a lot of really cool stuff this year and next year will be even more intense. This last chapter is a very emotional milestone for us and we cannot wait to share it with you. Come join us as we celebrate year 4 of Dead by Daylight!

Meanwhile, the new DLC will premiere on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices May 26th @ 2pm EST.
