Cool Horror Videos: NSFW opening credits to Marcus Nispel’s Backmask

We've been waiting on TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and FRIDAY THE 13TH remakes director Marcus Nispel's creepy looking possession flick BACKMASK for a long time, and we still don't have any word as to when we can expect to see it finally release. Our last update came well over a year ago when we landed some new stills and artwork for the flick, but since then we haven't heard a peep out of it. That changes now as we have something pretty cool to share.

Baird Design took to their Vimeo page to share the Not Safe For Work opening credits sequence for Nispel's BACKMASK, which you can check out below. Does this mean we're getting closer to seeing a release for this long-awaited horror pic? I certainly hope so.

BACKMASK stars Gage Golightly, Michael Ormsby, Stephen Lang, Kelly Blatz, Brett Dier, Nick Nicotera, Nick Nordella and Brittany Curran. Here's what it's about:

“During a sex, drugs, and rock-fueled party, six small-town teenagers find an old vintage record and decide to play it backwards in order to listen for any subliminal/satanic messages. Lo and behold, a seemingly malevolent spirit quickly infiltrates the group, wreaking havoc as it moves from one body to another. Eventually, however, it’s revealed that the spirit in question is actually trying to convey a message….and that the real source of horror isn’t particularly paranormal, but rather something (or someone) much closer to home.“

This opening credits sequence is definitely NSFW as it contains some nudity, so be warned.
