It was just earlier today that we shared the poster for the upcoming film RAMPAGE which will pit The Rock against a gaggle of giant, city-crushing animals.
As we told you in that post, the film's trailer was expected to hit at 5 pm and low and behold, we were right! I just watched the trailer myself and it looks like it could possibly be good monster-movie times…
But I'm thinking it's a Netflix watch for sure.
You can check out the trailer (and the poster) below and then make sure to hit us up and let us know what you think of the film thus far in the comments below or on social media!
RAMPAGE synopsis:
Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered alpha predators. As these newly created monsters tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.
RAMPAGE is directed by Brad Peyton from a screenplay by Ryan Engle, Carlton Cuse, Ryan Condal, and Adam Sztykiel. The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, P.J. Byrne, Marley Shelton, Joe Manganiello, Jake Lacy, Breanne Hill, Jack Quaid, and Matt Gerald.
The film is set to reach theatres on April 20, 2018.
