Charles Dance joins Godzilla: King of The Monsters

A lot of people know Charles Dance nowadays as the head of the Lannister clan in HBO's GAME OF THRONES. I, however, will always know him as Mr. Benedict (aka the ginger villain with the pimp glass eyes) from the underrated, fun as hell, Schwarzenegger action-comedy LAST ACTION HERO.

Today we learn Mr. Benedict will move from taking on Arnold and/or the Stark family and instead turn his glass eye to the king of monsters himself Godzilla in TRICK R TREAT director Michael Dougherty's GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS.

Will Dance be playing a villainous role in this upcoming movie?

I don't know and there is currently no further info on his role, but come one, I'm sorry but the guy – as damn talented as he is – just oozes "I'm going to murder-kill everyone and everything you love, including so-called Kings of Monsters."

But maybe he'll, you know, play the sweet old grandpa this time around… that kills everything and everyone Godzilla loves.

Dance will be joining the likes of Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ken Watanabe, and Aisha Hinds in the new GODZILLA flick which is planned to be the set up for the eventual monster mash KONG VS GODZILLA which is supposed to hit theaters May 29th, 2020.

GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS is slated for release on March 22, 2019.
