Now that they have polished up the script, it looks like Universal is ready to get this one rolling as TERMINATOR SALVATION's Bryce Dallas Howard (below) is reportedly in negotiations to star in Colin Trevorrow's JURASSIC WORLD. Apparently the studio has been eyeing the actress for quite a while, and now all the studio has is one more big role to cast before moving forward in pre-production, says Variety. Right now Howard's role is still a mystery as is just about everything else that has to do with JURASSIC WORLD so we'll be sure to clue you folks in on this one as we get it!
I've only ever really liked the first film so I can't say I'm all too excited to see what Universal does with JURASSIC WORLD, but I do like Howard so hopefully they can snag another solid actor to go up against some dinos! Trevorrow will direct with a screenplay he co-wrote with Derek Connolly and the film is being produced by Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley. If all goes as planned (it never does) you can expect to see JURASSIC WORLD tearing up theaters on June 12, 2015.
