Animated Ghostbusters film to be directed by Fletcher Moules

If what we're seeing from Paul Feig's GHOSTBUSTERS reboot isn't doing anything for you, maybe you'll have better luck with future installments in the "Ghostbusters Cinematic Universe" that Sony is attempting to build with Ghost Corps, the production company formed specifically for GHOSTBUSTERS projects and headed up by Ivan Reitman, director of the first two GHOSTBUSTERS films, and Dan Aykroyd, who co-wrote and starred in the films.

While development continues on a GHOSTBUSTERS movie that could potentially star Channing Tatum and be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, another GHOSTBUSTERS project has started to move forward. As we reported back in October, Sony is looking to make an animated GHOSTBUSTERS film, and that film now has a director: Fletcher Moules, a director/animator who is best known for making the commercials for the video game Clash of Clans.

The most popular of Moules' Clash of Clans commercials is Ride of the Hog Riders, which is embedded below and has already racked up more than 90 million views.

It will be interesting to see what team of 'busters this film will be focusing on, and an animated GHOSTBUSTERS is definitely a project I could get behind, as I grew up watching Ghostbusters cartoons. While eating Ghostbusters cereal.
