Angus Macfadyen, Daisy McCrackin join Blanc/Biehn’s She Rises

Blanc-Biehn Productions have been keeping themselves rather busy with a full slate of projects in various stages of production. We just shared the intense red-band trailer for their HIDDEN IN THE WOODS remake as well as the teaser for thier upcoming thriller THE GIRL, and it was only yesterday when we shared the teaser art for the upcoming ALTERED PERCEPTION with you. And that's only a small sampling of what Blanc-Biehn have on tap for us in the coming months! Today we have the first word on yet another film coming from Blanc-Biehn to share with you, and this one sounds as intriguing as the others.

Michael Biehn and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn's Blanc-Biehn Productions announced that Angus Macfadyen (BRAVEHEART, SAW III-IV) has joined their production of SHE RISES, in which the pair will also co-star.

Along with Macfadyen, Biehn, and Blanc-Biehn, Daisy McCrackin ("Cold Case," HALLOWEEN: RESURRECTION) will appear as the main character, Rosebud. Larry Wade Carrell is slated to direct the film which will begin filming in mid-December 2013 in Los Angeles.

An ego-driven Hollywood couple are filming on location at a charming bed-and-breakfast run by an innocent young woman. But appearances aren’t always what they seem, and the couple soon learns that what seems beautiful and naïve on the outside can quickly turn into their worst nightmare.

As with previous Blanc-Biehn Productions films, Lony Ruhmann exec produces, and Randy Chance will be managing composition. Jon Artigo will edit, and Danielle Artigo will assist Blanc/Biehn Productions on the producing side.
