The evidently "super-creepy" semi-found footage landlord from Hell flick 13 CAMERAS isn't a movie I have seen. Doesn't sound like my kind of thing. That said, if someone out there (other than one of the filmmakers) tells me I just HAVE to see it then I'll add it to my queue. Otherwise, I might be all good.
That said, the movie has gathered up enough of a loyal fanbase to warrant today's new that the film will be getting a sequel, which is set to go by the rather clever title of 14 CAMERAS… Get it?
I don't know why I'm coming off a such an a-hole here. My bad. I have nothing against the movie and 14 CAMERAS is by no means a terrible title. In fact, it's no worse than, say, 13 CAMERAS. Zing.
Okay, I'll stop, I'll stop.
Brad over at B-D recently learned that Gravitas Ventures has acquired Worldwide rights to the upcoming sequel and that the original film's writer-director Victor Zarcoff will be back to pen this installment's script, but will be handing off the directing duties to Seth Fuller and Scott Hussion.

The original film's synopsis:
Relocating from New York to California, a young married couple expecting their first child seem to have found the perfect home, even if the landlord is creepy. Unfortunately, he's creepier than they realize, having installed cameras throughout the property so he can spy on their most intimate moments.
The original film was written and directed by Victor Zarcoff, and starred Jim Cummings, Ethan Rosenberg, Benjamin Weissner and Tony Yacenda. P.J. McCabe, Brianne Moncrief and Neville Archambault.
We'll let you know when we hear more about 14 CAMERAS.
