As we all know by this point in time, Netflix has been getting better and better about their horror offerings. Not so much the films they acquire and put out, but their original content. Already this year two of the best horror offerings produced in the realms of television were both Netflix productions: Mike Flanagan's THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE and the surprisingly entertaining CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA.
But all the same, and speaking of the films Netflix acquires and slaps up monthly, today we have word on the horror movies hitting the streaming giant this coming month. The titles currently include BRIDE OF CHUCKY, CHRISTINE, HELLBOY, MY BLOODY VALENTINE, SHAUN OF THE DEAD, TERMINATOR SALVATION, DISTRICT 9, BIRD BOX, THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE, and more!
Personally, I'm looking forward to checking out Director Susanne Bier's BIRD BOX starring Sandra Bullock the most. The adaptation of Josh Malerman's novel tells the story of "a mother and her two young children, who are among a small group of survivors after a mysterious alien force has driven the world's population to deadly violence. The three must make their way on a terrifying journey — 20 miles in a rowboat — while blindfolded, with nothing to rely on but the mother's wits and the children's trained ears." And the trailer (see below) has me ready to give the flick a watch tonight.
You can give the full list a rundown below and then make sure to keep checking back here with us at AITH as we will try our best to keep you up to date with all the horror hitting Netflix as it comes in. Until then, make sure to check out the list below and then hit us up and let us know which horror movie YOU'RE most looking forward to checking out on Netflix this December.
