His name is 47, he’s here to kill you; final trailer for Hitman: Agent 47

We're just a little under two weeks away from the second attempt at bringing Agent 47 of the popular Hitman game franchise to the big-screen. Rupert Friend has shorn his head for the lead role, replacing the late Paul Walker who himself would have been taking over from Timothy Olyphant, who portrayed Agent 47 in the first attempt. Will the second time be the charm, or will we receive yet another lackluster video game-to-film adaptation?

Fox has released a final trailer for HITMAN: AGENT 47, giving us one final chance to be won over by deadly assassins, bloody head-shots, and blank stares.

Subdermal titanium body armour? That's a neat trick. While I can't pretend that I think HITMAN: AGENT 47 will be any great piece of cinema, I have to admit that I'm actually looking forward to seeing the film. If the fight choreography and action pays off, we may be in for a fun piece of entertainment.

HITMAN: AGENT 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research – and forty-six earlier Agent clones — endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.

HITMAN: AGENT 47 opens on August 21, 2015.
