Andy Muschietti's adaptation of Stephen King's IT has barely been out in the world for two weeks, but it's already raked in over $400 million worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing horror movies of all-time. There are plenty of stand-out moments in the film, one of which, when Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) performs a little song-and-dance routine for Beverly (Sophia Lillis), is both hilarious and chilling. One Twitter user took this sequence and has used it to prove that Pennywise really can dance to anything, including Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off", A-ha's "Take On Me", and even Aqua's "Barbie Girl." They're quite amusing and surprisingly addictive. Check a few out below!
With Andy Muschietti hard at work developing the second chapter of IT, which will find the now adult members of the Loser's Club returning to Derry to defeat Pennywise once and for all, I can only hope that a reprise of the dance sequence is included.
IT is now playing in theaters, so be sure to check out our own Eric Waljkuski's review of the film!
