Kiefer Sutherland revealed in new Flatliners TV spot

Last July we let us guys know that original FLATLINERS star Kiefer Sutherland was going to be in the upcoming remake of the classic (?) 90's film starring Ellen Page. Not only that but his presence in the movie signified that this "remake" was, in fact, a sequel… as if anyone cared.

Kiefer Sutherland on FLATLINERS (2017):

I play a professor at the medical university. It is never stated but it will probably be very clearly understood that I’m the same character I was in the original ‘Flatliners’ but that I have changed my name and I’ve done some things to move on from the experiments that we were doing in the original film.

Anyhow, today we have your first look at the younger Sutherland in the new FLATLINERS (2017) and I have to say Jack Bauer is still looking good for his age. But come on, he's one of THE LOST BOYS so that should not come as a surprise to any of us.

FLATLINERS synopsis:

Five medical students embark on a daring and dangerous experiment to gain insight into the mystery of what lies beyond the confines of life. The bold adventure begins when they trigger near-death experiences by stopping their hearts for short periods of time. As their trials become more perilous, each must confront the sins from their past while facing the paranormal consequences of journeying to the other side.

FLATLINERS is directed by Niels Arden Oplev from a screenplay by Ben Ripley. The film stars Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton, and Kiefer Sutherland.

FLATLINERS hits theaters September 29th.
