Here are the five most anticipated horror movies of 2019

Every year for the past few years, Fandango surveys over 3,500 people and then compiles and releases their list of the most anticipated movies of the coming year. This year is no different and today we have the results of the site's 2019 survey. The whole list is interesting and you can check it out in the link below, but we're not here to let you know if AVENGERS: ENDGAME is more anticipated than STAR WARS EPISODE IX: THE FORCE AWAKENS THE LAST JEDI FROM HIS NAP. We'll leave all that to our parent site, JoBlo.com.

No today we are here to discuss what Fandango claims to be the top five most anticipated horror movies of 2019. As you might imagine, director Andres Muschietti's upcoming follow-up to his hit adaptation of the first part of STEPHEN KING'S IT tops the list. But from there the flicks get a bit more interesting with movies such as US, PET SEMATARY, ZOMBIELAND 2, and ANNABELLE 3 taking up some interesting positions on the list.

Again, I agree that the number one most anticipated horror movie of 2019 (in my eyes) is IT: CHAPTER TWO. But then I think my list would differ a bit here and there. I know that PET SEMATARY would 100% be the second entry, but from there it gets a bit messy. I mean after that recent trailer, Jordan Peele's US may have snagged the number three spot, but it's really a toss-up from there between ZOMBIELAND 2 and ANNABELLE 3.
