Hell’s Kitchen has a new player in first full Daredevil Season 2 trailer

Netflix has finally released a full-length trailer for Daredevil Season 2, and it's (mostly) all about The Punisher! The trailer is pretty damn tense, and has some quick shots of Charlie Cox's "Devil of Hell's Kitchen" and Jon Bernthal's heavily armed vigilante taking on some criminals, as well as each other. From the start, the sophomore season has been described as "Daredevil vs. The Punisher," and it looks like it is going to deliver just that! There's also a nice little tease at the end of the trailer that I won't spoil for you here.

The trailer also provides us with looks at returning faces such as Elden Henson's Franklin "Foggy" Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page and Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple, and below you'll also find the announcement trailer that was released over the weekend.

"You know you're one bad day from being me."

The rumor is Netflix and Marvel may be developing a The Punisher solo series, and last month Bernthal had this to say about his take on the character.

I think this guy lives in a world of darkness that no other person in this universe can compare with that. My goal here was to put myself in that darkness and bring it up and again, to never pull punches. To never do half measures. To never be apologetic. To never pursue likability at all. To be completely unapologetic at all times because this is a highly personal mission that this man is on, and I think that this show, I'm not just whistling dixie, I think that this show and what they accomplished with last season is a perfect fertile ground to bring a character like that to light. It's not a superhero show. It's a human show.

As a huge fan of both Daredevil and the first season, I can't wait to binge-watch the shit out of the new season. What are your thoughts on this first full trailer for the upcoming season?

Daredevil Season 2 will be released on Netflix on March 18th.
