Hellblazers trailer: Bruce Dern, Tony Todd take on the forces of evil in Tubi Original

The free streaming service Tubi got into original programming last year, and their latest release is a movie a lot of genre fans are going to want to check out: writer/director Justin Lee’s action horror film Hellblazers, which has a cast that includes two-time Oscar winner Bruce Dern (The Hateful Eight) and is packed with genre icons and regulars: Tony Todd (Candyman), Adrienne Barbeau (Creepshow), Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn), John Kassir (the voice of The Crypt Keeper on Tales from the Crypt), Meg Foster (They Live), and Billy Zane (Demon Knight).

Set in the 1980s, Hellblazers tells the story of

a Satanic cult that has the singular focus of unleashing hell on Earth. With the help of an ancient incantation, they conjure a demon, and its members are tasked with feeding it the populous of a nearby small southwestern town.

Coming to us from Benetone Films, Legion XIII, TB FILMS, and Origo Financial Services, Hellblazers was produced by Lee, alongside Daemon Hillin and Melanie Young. Vasily Bernhardt, Avi Haas, and Frank Salzano are the executive producers.

Hellblazers was released through Tubi last Friday, so some of you reading this article might have watched the movie already. If you haven’t seen it yet, the trailer is embedded above to help you figure out if this is something you’d like to see. I’m totally on board to watch this one (there’s no way I could pass up a movie that’s set in the ’80s and has a cast like that), so I’ll be heading over to Tubi and clicking play on Hellblazers as soon as possible.

This is the tenth feature film for Justin Lee. His previous films are Big Legend, A Reckoning, Any Bullet Will Do, Alone We Fight, Swell, Badland, Final Kill, Hunters, and Apache Junction.
