Heather Langenkamp faces the terrors of Home on March 1st

A horror icon for her three battles with Freddy Krueger (in the original A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3: DREAM WARRIORS, and WES CRAVEN'S NEW NIGHTMARE), Heather Langenkamp will be seen dealing with horrific situations once again in director Frank Lin's HOME, which Inception Media Group will be releasing onto DVD and VOD March 1st.

Langenkamp's fellow cast members include Kerry Knuppe, Aaron Hill, Samantha Mumba, Lew Temple, and Alessandra Shelby Farmer.

The story, crafted by Lin and Jeff Lam:

Carrie (Knuppe), a young, spiritual woman, is abandoned by her father and forced to move in with her mother (Langenkamp) and stepsister (Farmer), whose lifestyle conflicts with everything she’s come to believe in. In addition to this test on her values and convictions, Carrie believes the new house possesses evil, paranormal forces. During one terrifying night after her mother leaves on a business trip, Carrie and her boyfriend (Hill) conduct an exorcism to rid the house of its supernatural presence. But, instead of purging the spirit, they awaken an even more sinister terror that begins to haunt and torture them. Now, as creepy occurrences lead to full-blown terror, Carrie must confront savage forces to protect her little sister and save their lives.

Sounds like a fine set-up for some scary happenings. It will be interesting to see how well the film handles the issues it appears to be dealing with – there's another synopsis that focuses almost entirely on the fact that Carrie can't accept that her mother is in a lesbian relationship with Mumba's character. Some of the special effects in the trailer seem a bit rough, but I can let that slide as long as the movie around them is good.
