It's been almost ten months since HBO debuted a 30-second teaser for its Westworld series, but the network has finally released a new trailer for the show.
Based on the Michael Crichton film of the same name and featuring an ensemble cast that includes James Marsden, Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright and Thandie Newton, Westworld comes from executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, J.J. Abrams and Bryan Burk, and has been described as "a dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the future of sin." In addition to co-writing the series with Joy, Nolan also directed the pilot episode. Although the new trailer is on the short side, it's still a fantastic look at the sci-fi Western.
"These violent delights have violent ends."
Westworld is set to premiere this October on HBO.
