HBO trots out more sex, drugs & rock and roll for new Vinyl trailer

Had you been tuned into HBO’s Season 2 premiere of THE LEFTOVERS last night, you would have caught the new trailer for VINYL, their new series on the horizon for 2016. With names like Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter attached to take us back to 70s, we’ll get what I’m sure will be an intriguing look at the music scene of the time, which was drenched with sex and drugs, not to mention plenty of rock and roll and more disco that most would like to comfortably admit existed.

But if for some reason THE LEFTOVERS isn’t your thing, the cable giant has been good enough to spring the promo material onto the internet for your perusal… and you have to admit – this look is full of the raw energy one would expect to see during this period, in New York City. I don’t know if it’s a revolution we’ll be seeing, but plenty of wildness? That seems like a sure bet.

HBO is set to debut VINYL on its airwaves sometime in 2016 (no specific date has been announced at this point, so just keep waiting).
