HBO to stream The Sopranos, The Wire, True Blood & much more for free

Unless you've been meditating in the desert for the past two months, you're likely aware that much of the world is currently in various stages of quarantine due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, which means that we're all spending a hell of a lot more time at home than we typically do. As most of us are watching much more film and TV these days, studios and streaming services have been making it easier for us to access that entertainment, and HBO will soon be making a handful of shows, documentaries, and movies available available to stream for free for a limited time on HBO Now and HBO Go services without a subscription.

Starting on April 3rd, you'll be able to stream a variety of HBO series, such as The Sopranos, The Wire, True Blood, Succession, Barry, and more. You'll also be able to stream documentaries and docu-series' such as McMillion$ and Jane Fonda in Five Acts, as well as Warner Bros. movies like DETECTIVE PIKACHU, THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, and THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART. Plenty of content there to enjoy, either for the first time or for a quarantine rewatch. "To provide some entertainment relief for those doing their part to keep everyone safe and healthy in this time of social isolation, HBO is making almost 500 hours of top programming available to stream for free for a limited time on HBO Now and HBO Go — without a subscription — starting this Friday, April 3," the company said in a statement.
