Hatchet III chopping its way to DVD, Blu-Ray in Canada this summer

Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada and Raven Banner Entertainment are set to unleash another great slasher film in Canada as HATCHET III chops its way onto DVD and Blu-Ray this summer.

The film continues the tale of the now-iconic villain Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder). As a search and recovery team heads into the haunted swamp to pick up the pieces and carnage left behind from the first two films, Marybeth (Danielle Harris) hunts down the true secret to ending the voodoo curse that has left the ghost of Victor Crowley haunting and terrorizing Honey Island Swamp for decades.

Danielle Harris and Kane Hodder return in HATCHET III and will be joined by Zach Galligan, Derek Mears, Caroline Williams and Sean Whalen.

HATCHET III is written and executive produced by Adam Green, creator of the Crowley character and writer and director of the first two movies. B.J. McDonnell makes his directorial debut in this installment, expanding on his work in the camera and electrical department on the two prior HATCHET films. The soundtrack was composed by Bear McCreary, the extremely talented musician behind the scores for TV series like ‘Battlestar Galactica’, ‘The Walking Dead’, and ‘Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles’. Also joining the cast of HATCHET III is Cody Blue Snider, the son of Twisted Sister singer Dee Snider, popular geek goddess Rileah Vanderbilt, and genre king Sid Haig.
