How does this sound to you folks? John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN on Halloween? Well…maybe not exactly on Halloween but you get the picture here. This is sort of the tradition of all Halloween traditions and if you want in then here’s the down-low for you: There will be a special screening of John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN in Spanish Fort, Alabama. Premiere Cinemas is hosting the event, so you can thank them for the set up.
On Friday, October 22nd, fans can look forward to a 2k Digital High Definition presentation of Halloween, complete with a Q & A epilogue with Tony Moran (unmasked Michael) and Brian Andrews (Tommy Doyle). Best of all? Admission is only going to set you back $5.00. The show begins at 11:30 pm sharp.
For more info check out the official website with all it’s exclusive content right here! The screening will be a “one night only event!” So don’t expect this sucker to swing around any time soon.
I wasn’t even alive when John Carpenter’s iconic horror film HALLOWEEN was making it’s rounds in theaters. That’s kind of the downside of being Generation Y I think. The great legends of horror began their reign of terror in the late 60’s and into the mid 80’s. Then the reboots happened. To me this could be a perfect chance, along with any other schmoe out there who wants in on some old school action, to feel that kind of terror on the big screen. Want my advice? Get your ticket and then haul ass to Spanish Fort, Alabama on October 22nd. Or you can wimp out and just see PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 instead. Your choice amigo!
