Last Updated on July 30, 2021

We're big fans of pinball machines here at Arrow in the Head, so it was very exciting to see that Spooky Pinball LLC has announced that they are working on an officially licensed pinball machine based on John Carpenter's 1978 classic Halloween (watch it HERE)! A teaser for the machine (without any footage of the machine itself) can be seen in the embed above.

Spooky Pinhall had this to say about the project:

Finally… the iconic horror film that started it all. Spooky Pinball LLC & Compass International Pictures are bringing the 1978 classic, John Carpenter's Halloween to the PINBALL WORLD! Freddy Kruger / the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise has had an official pinball machine since 1994, so it's about time Freddy's fellow slasher icons get in on this action.

We'll keep you updated on the Halloween pinball machine as more information is made available. I'm guessing that we're going to know a lot more about this by October, when the latest entry in the Halloween film franchise – Halloween Kills – will be reaching theatres.

Directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride and Scott Teems, Halloween Kills is said to be about

the creation of fear. It's one thing to be afraid of the Boogeyman, to have someone who might be in the closet, under the bed, creeping around your house… But we wanted to explore next was confusion, misinformation, and paranoia. What happens when fear goes viral? You can’t just stick your head under the covers any more."

The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Andi Matichak as Laurie's granddaughter Allyson, Judy Greer as Laurie's daughter Karen, Robert Longstreet as Lonnie Elam, Dylan Arnold as Allyson's boyfriend / Lonnie's son Cameron, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, Anthony Michael Hall as Tommy Doyle, Nancy Stephens as Nurse Marion, Charles Cyphers as Leigh Brackett, Jibrail Nantambu as scene stealer Julian, child actress Victoria Paige Watkins as a character named Christy, and James Jude Courtney as Michael Myers. Original Michael Myers performer Nick Castle also has a one scene cameo.

Green, McBride, and Curtis serve as executive producers alongside Couper Samuelson and Carpenter. Jason Blum produced with Malek Akkad. Halloween Kills is scheduled to be released on October 15th.
