We will FINALLY get to see Halloween Kills this year after a forced delay from its 2020 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic and it looks like Blumhouse Productions is already trying to build the hype.
The latest tease comes courtesy of "Empire Magazine", which has revealed a brand new image of Michael Myers with his signature bloody knife in hand. The image, which was posted on "Empire's" Twitter page, has a caption that reads "Michael Myers is back and out for blood (as ever) in @blumhouse's slasher sequel #HalloweenKills – coming to UK cinemas from 15 October. Here's an exclusive new image from the movie #EmpireBackToCinemas." You can check out the Twitter post below!
Halloween Kills is set to follow 2018's Halloween, which was a direct continuation of the first Halloween from 1978. The new sequel will pick up right after the ending of the 2018 film with a very angry Michael Myers wreaking total havoc on Haddonfield. Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Andi Matichak return from the previous film while newcomers include Anthony Michael Hall and Kyle Richards.
Directed by David Gordon Green, Halloween Kills, in addition to a traditional release, will also get an IMAX presentation when it opens on October 15, 2021. Did YOU like the new Halloween Kills image?
