Guy Pearce with a big gun- the poster for Lockout

The new poster for scifi thriller LOCKOUT has just debuted on MTV.

Basically ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK IN SPACE, it’s a film about a maximum security prison ship that’s overrun by the inmates. What’s worse is that the president’s daughter has been kidnapped. Her only hope? Guy Pearce, playing a character named Snake- I mean, Snow. As the trailer says, “He’s the best there is, but he’s a loose cannon!”

So hardly the most original premise but still, it’s a badass Guy Pearce in a scifi setting fighting space gangs, from the producers of TAKEN. How can we go wrong?

LOCKOUT will hit theaters on April 20th.
