So this is exciting! It seems that after many Covid-related delays, Searchlight Pictures has officially announced that the new release date for Guillermo del Toro's highly-anticipated horror-thriller Nightmare Alley will now be December 3rd! We'll of course keep you updated if that sticks.
Anyway, here's the official synopsis:
An ambitious young carny with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words hooks up with a female psychiatrist who is even more dangerous than he is. Based on the novel by William Lindsay Gresham
Meanwhile, del Toro's Nightmare Alley stars Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman, Mary Steenburgen, and David Strathairn.
