Gremlins star Zach Galligan calls for a proper sequel with minimal CGI

The last word we brought you guys on the possible third entry in the GREMLINS series was when the original film's director Joe Dante said the new sequel/reboot might be a prequel.

Whether that is true or not about GREMLINS 3 is something we will (hopefully) find out one day. But in the meantime, all we can do is show our support for the project, which is exactly what franchise star Zach Galligan did this new year.

GREMLINS synopsis:

A gadget salesman is looking for a special gift for his son and finds one at a store in Chinatown. The shopkeeper is reluctant to sell him the "mogwai" but sells it to him with the warning to never expose him to bright light, water, or to feed him after midnight. All of this happens and the result is a gang of gremlins that tear up the town on Christmas Eve.

GREMLINS 3 is now in development at Warner Brothers.
