If the first images and trailer didn’t gain your trust, we have few new shots from the upcoming adaptation of the classic comic strip PEANUTS to hopefully put some fears to rest. While a lot of people were understandably worried when they heard that their beloved PEANUTS was heading to the big screen, Paul Feig (BRIDESMAIDS), a producer on the project, told us "Snoopy will not be rapping, no one will be twerking”, and that pretty much did it for me.
The movie is now less than a year away and talking with USA Today said that if the film had a title closer to other Peanuts adaptations, he would probably call it “Don’t Give Up, Charlie Brown!“. They also mentioned that the story follows “the little round-headed boy with the indomitable optimism on a quest to get something he’s sure he needs, even though he discovers he’s pretty OK just as he is.” The movie will also take us inside Snoopy’s imagination. “We really get to go into his mind and see what this crazy dog is imagining every day of his life,” says producer and writer Craig Schulz, Peanuts creator Charles Schulz' son.
Check out the new images below and start to feel all warm and fuzzy again. PEANUTS will open November 6, 2015 and is directed by Steve Martino (ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT).
