I was totally blown away by the trailer for writer/director Joe Begos' THE MIND'S EYE. With its synth score and colorful lighting, it was '80s retro audio/visual delight that instantly earned the film a high ranking on my "must see" list.
The synopsis:
Zack Connors and Rachel Meadows were born with incredible psychokinetic capabilities. When word of their supernatural talents gets out, they find themselves the prisoners of Michael Slovak, a deranged doctor intent on harvesting their powers. After a daring escape, they are free from his sinister institution, but the corrupt doctor will stop at nothing to track them down so that he may continue to siphon their gifts for his own use.
Graham Skipper, Lauren Ashley Carter, John Speredakos, Larry Fessenden, and Noah Segan star.
RLJ Entertainment will be giving THE MIND'S EYE a theatrical and VOD release on August 5th, and to help to promote the film at last weekend's San Diego Comic-Con a clip was released that shows Skipper and Segan's characters using telekinetic powers to knock the hell out of each other.
That clip has since made its way online, and while I have to assume that it contains SPOILERS, you can watch it right here if you'd like to check it out anyway:
