experience? I only mention this because he will once again be behind the lens
for a film (another remake at that!) where the main character is invisible.
Psychologist’s are going to start talking David.
That’s right folks, David Goyer, who just
finished the less than stellar film
THE INVISIBLE, has signed on to not only direct but write a new
version of the H.G Wells classic THE INVISIBLE MAN according to
Variety.
Now the article doesn’t say remake per se, but it
does dance around the idea.
Variety says that Goyer’s story will center on
a British nephew of the original Invisible Man. Once he
discovers his uncle’s formula for achieving invisibility, he is recruited by
British intelligence agency MI5 during WWII. The idea here is that this
will be some sort of sequel I guess to the original story.
However, when asked about the project Goyer said:
“I’ve always been a fan of the original H.G. Wells book as
well as the Universal film and felt the property was ripe for re-imagining.”
So is it a sequel, a remake, or something in between? Whatever the case may be I
do trust in Goyer’s writing so I’m sure this will turn out to be something
pretty cool. Check out the full article
