For several years, GOODFELLAS and GRAND THEFT AUTO: VICE CITY actor Ray Liotta tried to quit smoking on his own. Unfortunately, a vast majority of addictions are hard to kick, and sometimes you need a little help. Thankfully, the makers of Chantix have developed a prescription medicine to help adults stop smoking, and since using the drug, Liotta has discovered that becoming a non-smoker is the "best role he's ever played."
Now, thanks to some keen editing skills, and a good-natured sense of humor, a Youtube user by the name of Joseph Lindquist has recut Martin Scorsese's 1990 crime drama GOODFELLAS for a new, more intense commercial featuring the struggles of Liotta's Henry Hill character. Regardless of there being nothing funny about addition of any kind, Lindquist's video manages to seamlessly weave the two properties together, resulting in an eye-opening and chuckle-worthy ad featuring an iconic character who'd always been his own worst enemy.
You can check out the video for yourself below, and remember, it's never too late to quit with Chantix:
