I hope you're ready for a Game of Thrones reunion, ya'll, because Jason Momoa and Peter Dinklage have signed on for GOOD BAD & UNDEAD, an action adventure vehicle set to be helmed by filmmaker Max Barbakow. According to Deadline, Momoa and Dinklage will also produce the film, which is based on an original idea by Mark Swift and Damian Shannon.

In GOOD BAD & UNDEAD, Dinklage will play Van Helsing, last in a long line of vampire hunters. He develops an uneasy partnership with a Vampire (Momoa) who has taken a vow never to kill again. Together they run a scam from town to town, where Van Helsing pretends to vanquish the Vampire for money. But when a massive bounty is put on the Vampire’s head, everything in this dangerous world full of monsters and magic is now after them. The intent is Midnight Run in a Bram Stoker world.

Recently Barbakow completed his directorial duties for PALM SPRINGS, a comedy starring Andy Samberg, Camila Mendes, and Tyler Hoechlin. The pic shares a story of what happens when a carefree Nyles and reluctant maid of honor Sarah have a chance encounter at a Palm Springs wedding. As you can imagine, things get complicated as they are unable to escape the venue, themselves, or each other.

I must say that I find the concept for GOOD BAD & UNDEAD to be rather intriguing. After all, Dinklage is an actor with gravitas to spare, and I'm certain that he'll make for an interesting Van Helsing. As for Momoa, I'm sure that this is not the first time that the AQUAMAN alum has fancied himself in the role of a vampire. Have you seen this dude's piercing gaze? Give him some fangs, some vamp-tastic duds, and you've got a recipe for success. Here's hoping that the tone of GOOD BAD & UNDEAD matches that of project's outrageous premise, pitchforks and all. I can only imagine what manner or monsters and men will come looking to vanquish the huckster duo, and I'll be there for it. Let's go!
