When Licence to Kill came out in the summer of 1989, it, unfortunately, marked the end of Timothy Dalton's tenure as James Bond. A significant delay involving behind-the-scenes wheeling and dealing meant a proposed third Dalton film, The Property of a Lady never got off the ground, and when they were finally ready to return to the franchise, he'd moved on. On this episode of James Bond Revisited we explore the Goldeneye phenomenon, including the hype that went into its launch and its enduring legacy, including the iconic in its own way N64 game, Goldeneye 007!
