So this cool! On a Reddit AMA yesterday, Godzilla vs. Kong director and co-writer Adam Wingard – a noted horror fan – revealed that the biggest film of the year literally has a reference to the notorious horror flop Jason X! Here's the pertinent quote:
The big reference that I haven't seen anyone pick up on is when Kong folds up and kills Nozuki (aka warbat) that was inspired by the holo deck murder scene in JASON X when Jason picks up the camper in their sleeping bag and smashes them around.
Honestly, that pretty awesome, and the AMA is well worth checking out if you haven't read it yet for some other fun tidbits about the film!
