THE GREEN INFERNO, Eli Roth's first directorial effort since HOSTEL 2, will finally open in a couple of months thanks to Blumhouse Productions, and we have an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at his cannibal thriller for you to check out. In the featurette below, Roth and cast members Kirby Bliss Blanton and Daryl Sabara talk about how difficult it was filming in the Amazon, and the director also says he wanted to make a horror flick that feels like an adventure movie.
JoBlo.com's Chris Bumbray got a chance to see the film when it screened at TIFF 2013, and in his review said, "If you want an absolutely brutal experience that's tough to endure, just like CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST, this is probably the movie for you." Sounds like THE GREEN INFERNO is definitely my kind of movie, and I know I'm not the only one who is pretty excited to see just how violent and bloody Roth's new film will be.
THE GREEN INFERNO will be in theaters on September 25, 2015.
