Gillian Anderson set to return for Hannibal season 2

One week after learning Eddie Izzard will return for season 2 of NBC's "Hannibal" series, word has come in today via TV Line that Gillian Anderson (pictured) will also be back, at least for the first two episodes of the new season. She'll continue to play the Hannibal's psychiatrist.

Also starring Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, Laurence Fishburne, Caroline Dhavernas and Lara Jean Chorostecki – "Hannibal" season 2 will air early next year and run for 13 episodes.
