Ghostbusters sneakers from Reebok releasing in time for Halloween

When it comes to foot-wear, I'm a simple man: I've got my everyday shoes, work boots, dress shoes, and a pair of winter boots; that's about all I've ever needed, but I'm aware that for many people, sneakers are a god-damn way of life. The sneakerheads among you may be interested to know that two different pairs of GHOSTBUSTERS-inspired sneakers from Reebok are dropping just in time for Halloween. Check 'em out below!

Strap on your proton pack. Or, you know, just lace up these Ghostbusters shoes. It's time to celebrate Sony's original Ghostbusters movie. The design includes several tributes to the series, from the logo on the tongue to the slime graphic on the outsole. The shoes are made of smooth leather, with a durable rubber outsole.

Show ghosts who is boss. These men's Ghost Smashers shoes have a fearless design inspired by the Ghostbusters movie from the '80s. The leather upper has a worn, weathered look as if you've gone into battle. Signature details from the film give them a legit look.

The sneakers will be available to order at midnight EST on October 31st, with the Ghostbusters Classic Leather Shoes running you $100 and the Ghostbusters Ghost Smasher shoes going for $150. When it comes to the big-screen incarnation of GHOSTBUSTERS, Sony Pictures announced earlier today that they would be pushing the release of GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE back to June 11, 2021; a disappointment to be sure, but understandable given the state of the world. Maybe these sneakers will help to soften the blow.
