the film which was inspired by the
Ghost Town in
the Sky theme park and the
entertainers who graced said park long ago, is now online at YouTube and can be
conveniently viewed below.
GHOST TOWN is about
Appalachian folklore and a legend
that tells the story of a man in 1856, who came out of the mountain wilderness
of Cold Springs, North Carolina to avenge his fathers death. In his wake he left
a Ghost Town. Today, twenty years later he returns to avenge his daughters
honor. The film is also responsible for
bringing back the legendary team of Bill McKinney and Herbert ‘Cowboy’ Coward
together after 35 years.
And I must admit that the trailer,
while good, didn’t have me exactly on the edge of my seat. However there was a single
deciding factor that totally roped me in; a giant rolling barrel with a fuse! I
don’t know why, but the idea of a giant, slow moving barrel used as some sort of
explosive device had me in stitches, and so now I know I have to see this flick.
So if you too like Looney Toon-esque
exploding barrels and the beautiful Renee O’Connor (Seen above and below who
also stars in GHOST TOWN), than peep the latest trailer below.
