Unless you count Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, you'd have to go all the way back to Joel Schumacher's BATMAN & ROBIN for the last live-action take on the character, which was twenty years ago. Earlier this year, DC announced that it would be launching their own digital streaming service, you know, because everyone needs their own at this point, and one of the first shows to kick-off the service will be Titans, a live-action TV show based upon the comic series. Also starring Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagon Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, and Minka Kelly as Dove, Titans will follow a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe, with Dick Grayson emerging from the shadows to become their leader. At the time of his casting, DC's Geoff Johns remarked, "Dick Grayson is one of the most important and iconic heroes in the DC Universe, and it wasn't easy to find him but we have. Brenton has the emotional depth, heart, danger and physical presence of Batman's former protege and the Titans' future leader. We're extremely lucky he's chosen to bring his talents to this project and this character." Titans will debut in 2018.
