JoBlo.com’s 3rd Annual Halloween Costume Contest is on!

The big day is here! Don't forget your camera's and/or phones (same thing nowadays) and snap some shots while you're out Trick or Treating or hitting the Halloween party scene and send them our way!

Time to carve pumpkins, make the outside of your house look like a zombie graveyard, and best of all, put together your best Halloween costume! We here at JoBlo.com LOVE us some Halloween and all the shenanigans that come with it. With so many of you schmoes bringing your A-Game to our last two Halloween costume contests, we couldn't bear to miss out on what you're cooking up for 2014. With that, the 3rd Annual Halloween Costume Contest is officially ON!

Some truly great entries were submitted and it was awesome to see the Schmoe community (MFC represent!) come together and rock out their costumes for all to see. Check out the full gallery of last year's entries HERE.

How to Participate

Simply e-mail your pics to us at: halloween@joblo.com

Make sure that you include your name and e-mail address so we can contact you if you're a winner and please keep your file sizes 5MB or less.

Did you say Prize?

The biggest prize, of course, is having fun and sharing your awesome costumes with fellow readers, but based on all your entries, we'll choose one winner, the best of the best who will be awarded an awesome JoBlo.com-related T-shirt of their choosing along with a $100 gift card from Amazon.com. But, that's not all! But, that's not all! After we've chose our winner, we’d like your help in choosing the 2 runners-ups, so we will post a gallery of the best of the best of the entries and ask for your help for the 2nd and 3rd prize winners, who will each receive a JoBlo.com T-shirt of their choosing or the JoBlo.com book!

Rules? What Rules??

All photos MUST be submitted by 9 p.m. on Monday, November 3rd. We'll post the winner and all the best entries on Wednesday, November 5th! We'll be selecting costumes based on originality, design, coolness factor, and overall creativity. We don't need "photoshoot" quality here, just good ol' fashioned snapshots. Also, please include your NAME and E-MAIL with your submitted photo, just in case you're the winner!

You guys constantly amaze with your entries and we're excited to see what you all bring to the table. If last year was any indication, we're definitely in for more treats than tricks. Happy Halloween!
