Whoa! A brand-new, English-speaking trailer for BATMAN NINJA has made its way online and we dare you not to get pumped up for this one!

Directed by Junpei Mizusaki (ZOO, JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE) with character designs by AFRO SAMURAI creator Takashi Okazaki, BATMAN NINJA will find the Dark Knight – and select members of the extended bat-family – in Feudal Japan, battling reimagined versions of the group's greatest villains.

Here's the official synopsis: Batman Ninja takes a journey across the ages as Gorilla Grodd's time displacement machine transports many of Batman's worst enemies to feudal Japan – along with the Dark Knight and a few of his allies. The villains take over the forms of the feudal lords that rule the divided land, with the Joker taking the lead among the warring factions. As his traditional high-tech weaponry is exhausted almost immediately, Batman must rely on his intellect and his allies – including Catwoman and the extended Bat-family – to restore order to the land, and return to present-day Gotham City.

Set to appear in the gorgeously animated feature are heroes: Nightwing, Red Hood, Robin, Alfred, and Catwoman. As well as villains: Harley Quinn, The Penguin, Poison Ivy, Two-Face, Clayface, Deathstroke, Gorilla Grodd, and of course, The Joker.

Like the 2008-released animated anthology film BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHT, Mizusaki's BATMAN NINJA will offer fans a unique look at the timeless hero by presenting his forthcoming adventure via a sleek Japanese-animated format. The film will release on digital on April 24th and on Blu-ray on May 8th. In other words, it won't be long before this potentially exhilarating Batman animated film swoops in and blows everyone off their feet.

And don't forget, the newest Batman animated film, BATMAN: GOTHAM BY GASLIGHT, was just released on January 23rd!
