Get a peek at Captain America’s new uniform in Avengers: Age of Ultron!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Last week we got some new snaps of Hawkeye’s new duds for THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON and today we have a peek at what the Sentinel of Liberty will be rockin’ for the sequel. While CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER opens this week and has a couple costume changes already, it appears that he’ll once again make some modifications for THE AVENGERS follow-up, which looks very similar to his current Marvel Comics costume. While shooting in South Korea (and with a stunt double) this new costume appears to be a hybrid of his WWII suit and modern military fatigues, which is about what his new “Marvel NOW” costume looks like.

Check out the video and pics below:

I know a lot of people had issues with Cap’s costume in THE AVENGERS, but I was fine with it for a first iteration of a modern suit. However, I will give you that it had some “Power Rangers” qualities and I’m happy to see an upgrade for the sequel. I think a mix of the old and the new make for the perfect set up and even though this pics and video we see aren’t enough to call it a complete win, the peek certainly inspires faith that Steve Rogers has gotten a proper upgrade.

THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Cobie Smulders, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, James Spader, Samuel L. Jackson, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, Thomas Kretschmann, and Soo-hyun Kim is set for release on May 1, 2015 and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER hits theaters this Friday, April 4, 2014 (F*ck Yeah!)
