For those unaware, E3 has kicked off and the trailers, gameplay and announcements are starting to roll in, not least of which includes a new look at the highly-anticipated STAR WARS JEDI: FALLEN ORDER. Set just after the execution of Order 66, the story follows a Jedi Padawan being hunted by the Empire and developing his skills as a Jedi in the process. The game stars Cameron Monaghan as the lead character, Cal Kestis, as well as Star Wars legend Ben Burtt as the voice of his companion droid, BD-1.
This reminds me a lot of last year's Spider-Man with some really dynamic gameplay mixed with a flowing narrative that unfolds with the game, rather than a mix of levels. It's a healthy mix when looking for something between a fighting game and a RPG-style game. Overall, the video above shows what it looks like within three hours of gameplay, which is very promising. This is definitely a game on my fall radar at this point.
STAR WARS JEDI: FALLEN ORDER is set for release on November 15th, 2019 on XBox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
