When Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) returns to stir up some mischief for our heroes in STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI, he'll be doing so in slick new ride. Thanks to The Star Wars Show, we've got our first official look at Kylo Ren's vessel – the TIE Silencer, aka the Sienar Jaemus TIE/VN Space Superiority Fighter if you're feeling technical. Featuring laser cannons and a missile launcher, the TIE Silencer looks like a melding of a TIE Interceptor and Darth Vader's own TIE Advanced x1. Check out a few shots of Kylo's new ride below!
You can check out the 3D rendering of Kylo Ren's TIE Silencer for yourself in the latest episode of The Star Wars Show (around the 1:00 mark), but I've got to say it looks like a stylish little ship. Here's hoping it isn't reduced to scrap by one of Kylo's temper tantrums by the end of the movie. With just a few more months until the release of the Rian Johnson film, we're finally beginning to learn more about the next installment of the STAR WARS sequel trilogy. In fact, just a few days ago at Disney's D23 Expo, a great little behind-the-scenes featurette was released which gave us our best look yet at the sets, creatures, and stars of THE LAST JEDI.
What do you think of Kylo Ren's TIE Silencer?
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is set for a December 15, 2017 release.
